@gjones it’s an Australian plant and apparently can be quite invasive over there. The cold keeps it in check here 😂 it looks so lovely under the leaves where the branches curl around each other to climb 💙

Love these. Sadly, all my seedlings of them have died. I think it was the prolonged cold winter/spring 😔

@cyndi my mum works in a psychiatric hospital as a housekeeper and a few years back they started bagging up any leftover food at the end of the day and sending it to a local shelter. It was stopped because they didn’t want potential lawsuits if someone from the shelter got sick 😐 they can’t even donate it to local farmers for pig feed for the same reason. The world is ridiculous when stupid laws are more important than feeding starving people 😡

@cyndi our welfare systems are so so different! You’d never be expected to try live on that even for a week, let alone a month! Life is hard enough when you have a disability. Shouldn’t have to keep fighting when there are too many that lie and cheat money from the state 😞 something has to give eventually. I dread to think what it will be

@cyndi I admire you for trying to live as sustainably as possible. It’s better for you I’m so many ways. I think mostly until people are given no other option they have no incentive to. In an ideal world we would all be on an equal footing. But the world couldn’t be further from ideal 😞
