My two new ones are hard ferns still only small looking forward for them to fill out. How many frens do you have
@alan1111 yours look a great size already too! Bet they’re loaded with spores 😜 never noticed any on this one before, like thousands of tiny poppy seeds. Think I only have 5, the 4 I posted today and a painted fern. How about you?
I have eight in total and they didn't cost me a penny. I found six of them behind a shed and potted up 😁
@alan1111 that’s incredible! What a find! 😍🤑😁
They were tiny plants and would have never been seen one of my better ideas 😉
@alan1111 you rescued them really 😛 they deserve to be appreciated 💚

Fascinating things when the new leaves are unfurling 💚
@jeatacake they really are! Look like little prehistoric animals 😜
Looks like some sort of tentacled beast 😂
@alan1111 a super skinny octopus with its head in the soil 🤪

Gorgeous ferns 💚💚💚
Nice! Looks happy and healthy in that pot. What are its living conditions (sun/shade/amount of water) I have a bunch of wild ferns in my backyard that need moving before we redo the yard. Was hoping I could save them in pots!
I have always loved ferns. Yours are so healthy and beautiful. 🍁😊
@karolk thank you Carole 😀
@jmlincoln thanks Jackie 😃 they should be fine to save in pots 😛 mine are in pretty much full shade at all times. It’s dry shade too so I just make sure they’re kept well watered. This has been in the same pot for a couple of years and still seems happy ☺️ are you redoing your whole garden???
@hkyfvr thanks Diane 😄 they’re wonderful plants aren’t they! And nice to have some much needed colour from them in winter 💚
Good to know! Thanks! I thought they'd be fine but always good to get another opinion 👍🏻 Our backyard is a steep hillside with just wild grown plants. We have yet to tackle that project as it'll be a massive one.. I'm talking heavy machinery and some length of time off work for my husband to get it done. Who knows when it'll happen but when it does... more gardening space for me 😂 All my photos now are the front yard, which was nothing but rock before I got here and pots from the back deck
@jmlincoln that sounds like a huge project! But the extra space would be amazing for you 😋 love seeing photos of your garden and sounds like you’ve already had to do a heap of work to it! Gardening definitely is a labour of love huh 😂
Aww thank you Kerry 😊 I've hated and loved it lol Neighbors thought I was crazy for battling with rocks for months lol I sure showed them once it all came together 😂
@jmlincoln you absolutely did! Created a beautiful space and I’m sure it’s been worth every bit of effort you’ve put in 💚
Thank you so much 🥰😘
