Before… #campanula #bellflower

They look great there

@alan1111 so tall and proud, for a few hours anyway 😆

At least you had just long enough to take a pic 😂

@alan1111 I was surprised it had so many more flowers than the day before so had to take a photo at its best 😍

…after 🤷🏻♀️ #campanula #bellflower

My garden was the same this morning , sorry to see this 😢

Yup. That was some rain ☹

Oh no 😩 I hope it pops back up alright later

Heavy rain is a pain. Hope things pop back up for you. 😧

Why dose it happen when the plant is at its best 😭

@pelly it is a sorry sight 😜 hopefully once the rain stops things will perk up a bit 🤞🏻

@charlotte was horrendous and so destructive. Sorry to see the damage it’s caused to your plants 😞

@gjones I’m hoping so 🤞🏻 need little pot umbrellas for weather like this 😂

@mich thanks Michelle 😛 if not it can have a late Chelsea chop 😂

@hkyfvr it really is! Some plants are far too delicate to handle it. Ruined my only peony flower too, before it even got chance to open properly 😠

@alan1111 that’s the worst part, it was looking the best it ever has 😩 but hopefully it’ll look even better next time it flowers 💜

#campanula #bellflower

Such a easy plant. I pull a bit out of a crack in the ground two years ago. I've never watered or feed it and it's after filling the pot and is in full flower now 😆

@alan1111 oh wow! Had no idea they could be propagated so easily 😯 they’re impressive looking things too 💟

Just looking at them now I don't think their the same campanula.

@alan1111 I still might give it a go since you’ve had success 😛

I'll post a pic of the one I have

They certainly do & you'll never be short of them in future as they self seed everywhere!

@gjones first time I’ve grown one (was supposed to be an aquilegia but another wrong order 🙄) but absolutely love it! The flowers are huge!!

@jeatacake I thought I’d escape that with pots but I find all sorts popping up in the gravel and grass. Must have pulled up 10+ self seeded hollyhocks last week 😂

I know this all too well! Actually, you can get some great plants that way. Anything I see that's decent looking gets potted up. Foxgloves are by far the worst offenders in my garden!

@jeatacake I did the same, potted them up 😂 can’t turn down a free plant and one that’s taken no work at all 😂 as beautiful as they are I expect foxgloves can run riot!

They're a real pain now for self-seeding, closely followed by aquilegias & campanulas, then maybe hollyhocks! 😫

@jeatacake all are beautiful but only so many you can have in a garden 😂

I agree. Shortage of space is a big problem now, especially right now when you can't see any gaps! 😄

@jeatacake it’s nice when everything is filled out, even my pots are starting to intermingle now 😛

Lol! The more you get, the more it'll happen too! Apart from where the edge if the lawn is, you can't see any soil in the borders now!

@jeatacake I’m surprised the lawn isn’t shrinking a little every year 😉

Oh it is, but has a nasty habit of creeping back again unless I'm at it with the half moon cutter quite often! 😃

#pentagonal
Very pretty. A solo act. 💜
@KOutdoors @emch @hkyfvr thanks ladies 😀 thankfully more are on the way but this one is a bit of an overachiever 😂
Most welcome. This one just had to win the race. 🤣💜
@hkyfvr he had some team mates arrive today to flower with him 😛
