Wow, you have so much still in flower! Here the gardens are pretty much in winter mode. I just have a few flowers on my miniature rose and chrysanthemums ☺

@gjones last year I had a few flowers for most of winter but there’s a lot more this year so hoping they’ll keep going 🤞🏻

Yep, roses are suprisingly very hardy. The miniature one has a bunch of flowers and rose Peace has one flowerbud but probably won't make it before hard frost.

@ublaszko I’m surprised these got to this stage so fast. I pulled them up about 2 months back and the self sets are already flowering 😜 hopefully I’ll have some at Christmas again 😍

@gjones no wonder the plants are confused 😜 is it still warm too? I think most of the country is getting rain, there are even ‘risk to life’ warnings for some places due to the amount of rain. It’s skipping here completely for some reason 😔 I’d gladly take any you have to spare 😂

@gjones the frosts don’t seem far off here either. Days are warm but as soon as the sun goes down it’s very wintery 😔

@sherrisgarden they’re so early though! Not that I’m complaining, I love cornflowers 😍 (I’m as obsessed with nails as I am plants - probably my polishes would outnumber my plants too! 🤣)

I've never grown them before. Easy ? At one time I had a gazillion polishes too Until I got tired of my hall cabinet being jammed up !! Gave a bunch away.

@kez001uk They sure are Kez. I'm going to go through my bagful of bulbs and seeds tomorrow and see what I've got. But if I haven't got anymore of these I must get some and in more colours. I really need to get my bulbs planted so I aim to do that on the next dry day we get ☺☺

@midnightgardener there’s a magazine called garden answers and this month they have free cornflower seeds that are all different shades of blue. They’re stunning so might be worth getting - there are 3 other packs of seeds too 😋 I need to do the same with my bulbs but it’s not very enjoyable being outside in this weather is it 😟

I just let them flop over and be all messy but it looks ok because I have zinnias in the same pot and they're a nice upright plant. Except they haven't flowered yet 😰

It's exciting! I sowed a variety of seeds in a container and these are the first to flower. I also have some zinnias, nigellas, poached egg flowers, California poppies, night scented phlox and dwarf marigolds 😍
