@columbiariver thanks Laura 😀 they’re really high up in the canopy of the tree - I say canopy, it’s a few branches 😂 but they’re too pretty not to see close up 😍

@KOutdoors @hkyfvr I was so excited to get this but am a little disappointed with it now it’s here 😐 it must be 18’ and all the branches are on the top 1/4 of the tree. Doesn’t look anything like ones I’ve seen online. Hoping it’ll fill out once it’s in the ground 🤞🏻

It does look pretty tall but it should fill out. If you are really unhappy can you return it? I am sure it will fill out if you give it a chance. 🤞🤞 @kez001uk

@hkyfvr I do hope so. The ones I’d seen were multi-stemmed and definitely more bush looking than tree-like. Still, it’ll be the first thing planted in the ground so hopefully will thrive and be a good habitat for the birds, if nothing else

@KOutdoors I do hope you’re right ☺️ stings a little when it was £80 and it’s so far from what I was expecting. Maybe once it’s in the ground it’ll take off and fatten up 😜

@KOutdoors I certainly will, thank you Karen ☺️ the most expensive plant I’ve bought by far but wanted instant impact with this one. Come spring I hope that it’ll be covered in blooms so it’ll all be worth it 💕

I agree with Karen. Sometimes we expect them to look exactly like the photos which are taken when the tree is more mature and at its best. It will grow into its beauty and you will be thrilled when it blooms for the first time. My variegated maple looked tall and lanky at first but it has filled out so much. 👍😍😍

@hkyfvr your maple does look amazing and I’d be so happy if this transforms in the same way 😍 I have it now so just have to nurture it and hope it’ll blossom into the beauty it can be 💕

Great attitude. I have a photo of me with that tree when I had it in the shopping cart at the greenhouse. It was bare most of the way up with leaves and branches on the top. It took a couple of years but it looks great now. Your will too. 👍😍
