@Davidward thank you David 😀 it’s been going since early May and still giving off a few flowers. They’re usually much bigger and a deeper purple with lime green 💜💚

Always welcome Kerry. I have noticed some of my dahlias have really faded. My deep red one and the purple one are not as vibrant as they were. I guess they are running out of energy. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️😳

@hkyfvr can’t blame them for being exhausted I guess 😜 I’ve given all mine a good soak with tomato feed so hoping that’ll perk some things up

@jeatacake think it must be. Same happened last year but only had one flower so nothing to compare it to. This year there’s loads and are all like this 🤔

Are they still a bit wishy washy even when fully open?

@jeatacake I’m starting to think it could he sunlight. This time of the year the part of fence they’re on only gets a small amount of direct sunlight whereas in summer it’s almost all day. Good shout Jeff 😛

@vinny3000 she’s doing great thank you 😁 has sepsis at Easter and then diagnosed with breast cancer so she’s had a tough couple of months, especially as she’s 84! But remarkably she’s back to her best after a mastectomy 2 weeks ago. Think she’s healthier than most people half her age 😂 I know how you feel about the garden being behind. Most of mine is too 😜 but at least we will have flowers long after everyone else’s fade 😉 have a great (and hopefully dry) weekend 😊

Hi Kerry better today the ground still too wet to cut grass hopefully by tomorrow it will be dry enough. I went to a Metallica concert at the Etihad stadium yesterday (18th) and it absolutely tipped it down all night June my bum lol 😂😂 @kez001uk
