Lovely Cosmos 😊😊💕💕
@midnightgardener they never seem to stop looking great do they 😍
@gjones thank you Katy 😛 and the ones I told you about that had no buds have sprouted them from nowhere and look almost ready to open 😂
@kez001uk Looks like they'll be around until the frosts appear 😨
@midnightgardener that’s not a bad thing at all 😛
@gjones until the frosts anyway. Don’t think they’re far away now 🥶

6’+ now!
They look like cups or bowls, trying to catch something. 😊
@bluefox23 they do! 😛 all they’ll be catching is bird 💩 though 🤣
Flowers on steroids !! 🤣😋😎😃🤣
😂😂😂
@sherrisgarden 😂 now I know what they put in plant food 😉😉
@ublaszko I had to take photos standing on a stool today 🤣
😂😂 I always ended up taking photos of my tree lilies while standing on the garden bench.
@ublaszko thank god I’m not the only one 🤣
I have step ladder too for these occasions 😆😆
@ublaszko 🤣🤣🤣
Wow! Never seen any so tall! 😮

@jeatacake that’s how tall it is 😆
That's a tall one
@alan1111 over 5’ now but still standing by itself, even in the horrible winds we are having here 😜
It's a toughie as well as a biggie 😁👍
It's doing well you know what cosmos is like
@jeatacake will overtake me before long! Deck will come in handy for photos 😂
Ha ha & then a step ladder! 😄
@alan1111 it does what it wants 🤣
@jeatacake Kerry and the beanstalk 😆
😂😂😂😂

Looks like velvet ❤️💛❤️
Wonderful colour 😍
@lovemygarden65 they do, so dark and decadent looking 😁
@jeatacake isn’t it lovely 😍 and at over 5’ I hope it’s done growing 😅
Blimey! A real biggun, as well as being a "Bobby" Dazzler! 👌 Has it got a cane or stick for suport?
@jeatacake it’s almost as dark as David Dickinson’s tan! 😂 no support as yet. They’re holding up well! I’ll get a photo once I get it’s neighbour staked up. The rain has weighed down my hydrangea flower heads 😜
Lol! I'm surprised there wasn't much damage from 2 days of continuous rain here. Mind you, it never got very heavy. Just had a lot of it!
@jeatacake just made everything soggy but drying out fast, til the next lot of rain 😂
Same here, so different again. I think we'll get more rain over the next few days. It's either feast or famine! 🌧☀️🌧☀️🌧☀️
@jeatacake never any happy compromise here 😜 not with the weather anyway 😂
@columbiariver it’s beautifully dark and moody 😛

Still so many buds 😍
Yeah mine keeps banging them out too, it's bonkers!
@dantolomeo first time I’ve grown them but won’t be the last. They never seem to stop flowering so they 😜
Yeah me too, they were a gift from a friend and we love them! Do you know if they'll come back next year or should we be trying to save seeds?
@dantolomeo good friend to have 😉 they’re annuals so will die back once the frosts start but can self sees or it’s easy to collect the seeds from fried flower heads 😁
They'll flower more and more until you get frost. Hope it stays away for a bit longer 🙏
@jeatacake Friday it drops down to 1 degree so preparing to see a lot shrivel up by the weekend 😂 can’t complain really, had a few extra weeks out of most plants
Not bad for almost the end of October 👍😊
@jeatacake not at all! I doubt frosts are ever a concern where you are 😉
Never, lol! The temperature here in Bangkok rarely falls below 25C, even in "winter". It's been about 30 to 35C the whole time here so far.
@jeatacake that’s pretty much our typical summer 😂 make the most of if Jeff cos you’ll be coming back to -35 🤣🤣🤣
Noooooo! I was hoping for a balmy +15C, not a barmy cold temperature! 😂

Looks like you have quite a few gladioli still to come! 😆😆
@ublaszko loads but there’s no sign of flowers 🤷🏼♀️
I counted that mine took 15 weeks from planting to flower. I still have a second wave of gladioli which hopefully will flower in 4 weeks. 😨
@ublaszko your autumn flowering ones, I forgot you held some back for that. A lot of mine are way behind so doubt they’ll flower at all now
Fingers crossed they make it! Just read in the news earlier today that we're in for autumn heatwave 😅
@ublaszko I saw that too 😔 hopefully will be less hot than a few weeks ago though

Great colour 😍
@jeatacake thank you ☺️
Gorgeous! Maybe cosmos is something I should try in a year or two! 😊
@bluefox23 you won’t be disappointed! So easy to grow and they flower for ages!
This is my favorite color. I'll definitely get this plant, or at least the plant that produce the exact same color flowers...!!!!!👌👌👌👌😍
@shaz831 these are so easy to grow Shaz, well worth getting some seeds 😁

Surviving the weather 👍
Wow
That gold centre is dazzling indeed. 💖
@gjones thanks Katy 😀
@jeatacake just about 😜 don’t think many more will be opening though 😅
@charlotte thank you Charlotte ☺️
@novicegardenlover great when the name suits its plant 😛
Almost all mine are in the greenhouse now. What state they'll be in when I get back is going to be 'interesting'!
@jeatacake it’ll be a jungle in there 😉😉
Not far off! Might be a sickly looking jungle though when I get home! 😟
@jeatacake here’s hoping the plants can take care of themselves for just a few weeks 🙏🏻
They've all had a good watering & so long as we don't get a prolonged very cold spell, they should be OK🤞
