Most of mine stopped flowering in the depths of winter but they’re going crazy again now 😍😍

@jeatacake thank you 😊 I’m assuming they’re hardy, they did make it through winter even though it was a relatively mild one 😂

@pelly it’s shaping up to be another year where plants are going to do what they want when they want 😂

Fingers crossed they are hardy too in a normal winter 👍 The hardy ones I have look very dull in comparison.

Pretty much & only die back a little, especially being in the shade, which they prefer. Mine are cyclamen hederifolium & I've had then many years through harsh & mild winters & they do spread too 👍

@jeatacake oh that’s great to know. Was going to chop them right back so glad I didn’t 😂 wouldn’t mind them spreading though, the foliage is so pretty on cyclamens 😋

@jeatacake thank ya ☺️ no they’re all outside 😜 thankfully it’s stayed quite mild for the most part so nothing has been damaged too badly yet 🤞🏻

I'm even more impressed now! 👌 Just watch out though in case a hard frost is forecast, as they're not that hardy unless they are the Hederifolium type, which are 👍

@jeatacake they’re out front of the greenhouse just in case they need to be protected 😁 I didn’t think I’d end up liking them but the leaves are just so pretty!

They do grow on you! 😁 Had frost during the night here, so I hope yours were OK 🤞

@jeatacake we aren’t getting much frost here at all so far. Just icy winds at the moment but the cyclamen seem ok with it 🤞🏻

You are lucky. They certainly seem to be thriving 👍 Those cyclamen are toughish, maybe down to approx -3C. I had some years ago & took a chance leaving them out & a hard frost killed them 😞

@jeatacake sorry to hear that you lost yours 😢 I’m learning to keep an eye on the weather now so once it looks to go below 0 I’ll move them indoors. It’s hard work this gardening lark! 😆

Tell me about it, lol! Whenever I hear the "F" word on the weather forecast, I go into a semi panic wondering if the tender plants in the greenhouse will be OK without much, if any heating 😧
