@hkyfvr @gjones thanks ladies 😄 the flowers are much bigger than they look, about the size of a DVD this year! They do look like wind spinners but the petals just fall off in the wind instead of rotating 😆

@gjones it’s not the most prolific flowering plant but even 2-3 open flowers at a time makes for a pretty display ❤️

Do the petals open up or stay like that?

@jamescallifer they do flatten out completely at some stage but I haven’t managed to photograph it yet 😂

Unusual for a dahlia not to flower. She was well worth the wait

@alan1111 I think I potted them up too late and only got a couple to flower by moving them into the greenhouse 🤭

At least you know the reason why and won't let it happen again 😅
