I forgot to look when I was at the big box store tonight. I got a penstemon instead. It was called huskers red and I expected a bright red flower. At first I was disappointed then I saw that the foliage and stems are a lovely burgundy colour with white flowers with a touch of pink. Sounds lovely I hope. 🤞🤞 There were no flowers on the plant yet and I ignored the colour it showed on the tag. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@hkyfvr to be fair you’d expect a red flower when it has red in the name 🙈 why do plant people have to confuse us so much 🤪

They want to keep us guessing. I also see people on here ordering one colour and getting a different one. Such is life. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
