@ublaszko I must admit they get watered twice a day since almost all mine died last year from drying up 🙈

Oh wow, twice a day! I'm only watering mine every 2-3 days 😰 I better keep up with it from now on. Only had 2 flowers last year 😰

@ublaszko they are in small pots though so even quicker to dry out. But keeping the soil damp has definitely helped them all

Ok good to know! Mine are in a window box so also drying out quickly. I assumed they were drought tolerant seeing as they're California poppies 😁😁

Not that I have seen Kerry. The ones I have always seen wild are the solid orange. The name, Mission Bells, refers to the Mission Bells that were placed to commemorate the 700-mile-long El Camino Real route linking the 21 missions, founded by Father Junipero Serra. It is part of California history. 💗
