Such an elegant looking fuchsia π

πππ

@alan1111 itβs a lot less βin your faceβ than a lot of fuchsias isnβt it π

@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom thank ya Elaine π

I have to say I do like it is it hardy

@alan1111 it has better colours than youβd expect from a hardy fuchsia. I thought they were usually the deep pink/purple ones

When I first look at it I didn't think it was hardy even better that it is you won't have to take cuttings each year π

@alan1111 I must admit I never take cuttings π most have always come back, even the more tender ones. Although with the winter forecasts they will be going in the greenhouse this year. Are your brugs still outdoors?

Your lucky so with the fuchsias. Better safe than sorry Kerry. The brugs are still out and flowering away π the honey bees are loving them, they come out covered in pollen. On a still night like tonight you can smell them all over the garden π @kez001uk

@alan1111 theyβve been brilliant for you havenβt they! Can imagine theyβre loved by pollinators π keep enjoying them π

Couldn't be happier with them Kerry mind you the flowers don't like the damp weather. The flowers close during the day and you can see the bees squeezing in and coming out covered in pollen π I'll keep them going as long as possible π @kez001uk

@alan1111 i bet they donβt! None of us do π that sounds adorable π bees will get in anywhere thereβs pollen π€£

Beautiful #octoberblooms

@terrimclaughlin I got lucky with finding a spot where they like to grow. The shade of my shed seems to suit them and theyβve given me a great show of flowers π thank you βΊοΈ

@gjones theyβre fascinating to look at, so much about them to notice. I thought I had another the same but instead of the pink stamen it has white. Theyβre just lovely flowers π

@matewe thank you Cori π

Stunning ππβ¨

@ublaszko thanks Urszula π

@matewe thank you Cori βΊοΈ

It's going on my wishlist ππ It looks different to the one I have. Much more delicate π And purple is my favourite colour π

@ublaszko itβs a pretty little one, and hardy too π

I'm sold! π I threw away a tender one the other day as it's finished flowering and was starting to loose leaves. So glad this one is a hardy one π

@gjones supposed to be white and purple so donβt know what happened with this one π€£

@gjones theyβre just fascinating how all of that comes from a tiny white bud. Never get tired of fuchsias π

Me neither Kerry, this is such a pretty one and the others look beautiful too. @kez001uk

So perfect ππ

@lilybee thanks Sue π theyβre just so varied and pretty arenβt they π

@suerichards thanks Sue π

Flourishing despite the recent temperatures π€ππ #fuchsia #fuchsia-deltas-sarah #fuchsia-dollar-princess
Love the colours. So pretty πππ€
Pretty ππ€
Two of mine are the opposite, the heat appears to have knocked them back π€
@hkyfvr @juliesgarden thanks ladies π love the flounciness of fuchsias π
@gjones @pelly Iβm so surprised they made it through the heatwave! In cooler years I struggle to even keep the foliage looking decent π think full shade has helped them, even if it means they flower much later
Always welcome. I have not had fuchsia for years. I used to get hanging baskets every year. Maybe I will try again next year. π
@hkyfvr they look so good in hanging baskets! Well worth revisiting them ππ
Definitely π
