@jeatacake it’s maybe only a foot and a half. Supposed to be a climbing fuchsia but I forget and keep chopping it back every year 🙈 have just removed several of its offspring from surrounding pots 🙄😂

@jeatacake there was a huge one that I’ve hopefully saved but I’ve never had a self seeded fuchsia before 😛 the longer I’ve been gardening I’ve become a little more able to tell if something is seed or non-weed so trying not to pull everything but the main plant up is revealing quite a lot!

I've never had a self sown fuchsia seedling. I still get some unusual & unexpected ones. There are often some seedlings I have to leave & even let flower as I don't know what they are!

@jeatacake I only knew it was a self set as it’s entirely different to the main one in the pot 😜 worse they all look the same until they flower 😂

You could get something completely different and new when they flower 🤞

@alan1111 I am tempted but know they’ll look nicer and be stronger if I cut them back. Just always feel bad cutting off flowers 😐

@cyndi I tried training it but the new growth just wilted. Think next year when the old stems are a bit stronger I might be able to tie it in better 🤞🏻

@flof1952 you won’t be disappointed Pauline! They’re beautiful and grow so fast! Apparently they’re climbers but it was their first year so didn’t climb that far 😂 hopefully this year they will
