Just love the rich tones ❤
@novicegardenlover me too, they’re a great colour for this time of year 🍂🍁
Whst a beauty ❤😍
Great colour, wish I'd grown them now! 🌻
@jeatacake thanks Jeff 😃 did any of your claret flower?
@anges they’re such a great colour. Always next year 😉😁
Sadly no. A more brown coloured one did, whose variety name I forget, but otherwise, a bad year for sunflowers in my garden 😕
@jeatacake I have some for you anyway 😛 hopefully they’ll fare better next year 🤞🏻
You're an angel Kerry, thank you. Made a few slip ups with them this year. Will get my act together next year! ☺
@jeatacake you’re allowed a slip up once in a while 😉 just means they’ll be extra good next year 😁
No pressure then! 😂 Only kidding, thanks Kerry 😊
@jeatacake you’ve got a reprieve 😉

I love the darker coloured ones 👌🏼
Love this colour!
Smashing colour
Such a range of colours from 1 pack of seeds 👍🏻😉
@richard.spicer.7906 they look great with the more traditional ones too 🖤 saying that, these darker ones are all that seem to be opening 😂 hope you’re enjoying your holiday ☺️
@ublaszko thank you Urszula 😀
@alan1111 thanks Alan 😃
@gjones thanks Katy 😄
@telswirld was hoping for more of the red tones but these are lovely. Just too much like the autumn time mix 😜
Same here 🤷🏻♀️ s’pose it could’ve been worse 😉
@telswirld they could have got eaten by my miniature snails 😉🤣
🐌😱😂
Claret seeds too! 💖
@gjones they’re like little pink jewels 💕
@jeatacake I thought they might catch your eye 😉 I’m guessing they’re not ready yet?
Ha ha ha! You know me too well! I think they need to dry out a little more, but if the rain persists, that might have to be done with them detached & somewhere dry!
@jeatacake oh you can decapitate them and they’ll be viable? If that’s the case I’ll do that with them all 😜
I think they look mature enough. What you could do is gouge out a seed, one of the bigger ones. If it looks like the seed inside the outer shell has formed properly, then it should be fine to give it the chop & dry it out 👍
@jeatacake I’ll give that a go this afternoon 😛 thank you for your help as always 😁
Always very welcome Kerry 👍 Hopefully they'll look ready 🤞
@jeatacake I’ll keep you updated 😉
👍😉
@kez001uk So should the sunflowers become headless to get their seeds? Good luck with yours and your seeds. I'll let my sunfowers bloom and enjoy the holidays first. Maybe l can send you some for next year 😁😊
@newbud once they’re ripe enough I’ll take the heads off to dry them. Most are at that stage now. And yours are just starting to flower! So lucky 😛 I’d be happy to swap seeds next year 😁
