@hkyfvr great isn’t it 😛 I think the name is because the underside of the leaves are brown. The flowers are supposed to be purpleish 💜🤎

@ShelleySnyder it’s a lilac/pink flower, lacecap I think. It’s so pretty, been on my wish list for ages 😜

@cyndi if only it smelled of chocolate 🤤 the flowers are gorgeous aren’t they! Foliage is interesting too, different to any other hydrangea I have

Love the name! Oh my it's going to be a real beauty! I was curious because years ago I had one that had the same kind of leaf, big dark green and fuzzy, the underside was a brownish, mine was also a lace cap but it dark medium and light blue, it just became way to large to manage so we had to get rid of it. But it really was a stunner!💘😍

Just looked this one up. Can't wait to see it in all its glory next year 👍
