@jeatacake I was so hopeful they’d trail or cover the horrid basket. Instead they’ve knitted themselves together in a ball right on top 😂 a few bits I’ve managed to attach to the outside but they’re like badly behaved children! 🤣🤣🤣

I suppose their natural habit is to climb up, not dangle down. You'd have to be keeping an eye on them all the time, yes, just like naughty children 😂😂😂

@jeatacake they started off ok but because they grow so fast they undo all my hard work by time I get up the next morning 😂

If it wasn't for the compost falling out, you could have them upside down to make them grow in the right direction 😁

@jeatacake thank you kindly 😛 oh I’m sorry to hear that! They’re like critter crack 🤣 I had the (un)wise idea to put mine in hanging baskets thinking they would look lovely trailing but as you can guess they aren’t behaving as planned! It has saved them from being eaten though

My problems were in March. I planted the seeds in pots in the greenhouse just before going away for 3 weeks. When I got back, they'd tunelled in & caused mayhem, eating plants, seeds & even candles! Morning glory seeds were dug up & eaten along with many other things! 😡

@jeatacake that’s just awful, I’m sorry 😔 they’re so destructive! I guess not being disturbed for 3 weeks just gave them time to decimate as much as they could 😢 both had greenhouse disasters this year so due some good fortune 😉

I've done as much as I can block their route under the fence from the waste ground/jungle next door. & won't be leaving them seeds to eat in any form!
