Do you leave these in the pots all year 'round? I've just gotten some. Potted them, now that they're about finished I know to leave the leaves until they've turned brown, but, do I have to lift the bulbs?

They've lasted a good while for you

@lesliecole49 I leave them in the pot all year and they stay outside 😁 so far I’ve not had a problem with reticulate irises returning so I expect they’re pretty tough little things 😛

@alan1111 they have but they only seem to be opening one or 2 at a time 😜 prolonging their display 😂

A couple flowered at a time I wonder why that happened

😍😍😍 All of my iris reticulatas have finished already. Most crocuses too apart from some I planted quite late last autumn.

@ublaszko you still have crocuses??? Lucky 😛 these have flowered very strangely but nice to have them staggered to prolong the pretty 😂

Only the newly planted crocuses are still in flower. Two of my flowerbeds look very empty after windstorms damaged most of my crocuses.

I hope I can buy more irises and crocuses in autumn. I'm going to have to lift my self-imposed online ban 🙈🙈🙈 Since I'm staying home I might as well use some of my spending money on plants 😌 @kez001uk

They're beautiful, aren't they? 😊 Mine have already gone over after being battered by Ciara and Dennis. Your ones seem a bit more cornflower blue in the middle. Mine are more forget me not blue but I guess that's because they're in a north-facing garden. Both are gorgeous 😍😍😍

@ublaszko I adore them! The muted colours are beautiful 🥰 yours did well even through the storms 😛 think this colour isn’t true. Another photo I took on my camera shows the blue white differently, more like yours

I like this photo better 😉 They are quite muted but they go really well with strong colours like Joyce and my white crocuses too. They're a bit easier to adapt to the design than some of the others. The blue sky Alida doesn't mesh well with other colours so I placed the pot on top of the barbecue 😂

@ublaszko I never even think to move them with other colours. Mine is sitting in front of the spruce 😂 well at least the barbecue looks pretty 🤣
