@lesliecole49 I didn’t know they were scented 🤪 thank you for saying or I’d never have known 🙈

@gjones I’ve found the exact same thing! And when I get a flower it’s only ever one at a time 😜 not too sure they’re a keeper for me 🤔

I'm surprised @kez001uk @gjones the ones growing under my apartment stairs, (in full sun) flowered prolificlly and they're also called 4 clocks because the scent really comes out in the late afternoon. I would sit at the top of my stairs just to enjoy the lovely scent

@lesliecole49 they may improve next year, I hope so anyway. I’ll give them another summer if I manage to overwinter them 😜 only started them from seed this spring so lucky to have them flowering already I guess 😁

They survive the winters here easily. We get down below freezing but not to often below -17c. I think they're hardy below that yet, too. In a pot, I don't know. I think you'll like them.

@lesliecole49 sounds like they should definitely make it if they’re in the greenhouse then 😁 thank you 😛 I do hope so because I like the plant

@jeatacake did you grow this variety? I’m only getting white so far, no broken colours 😜 they look so much like morning glory blooms 🤩

I have about 6 plants, most yellow flowered, which is the one that flowered. I think I need to repot them next year after their winter sleep in the greenhouse.

@jeatacake oh yellow, very nice 💛 and thanks for the greenhouse tip. I thought they were just annuals 😜

They form a very thick tap root, kind of like dahlias & regrow from tgst each year. I treat them the same way as dahlias too, to overwinter them.👍
