So pretty against the foliage. I spied a couple of shoots in my garden. 👍😍

These will be my first hyacinths ever in the garden except for the muscari type. We are expecting three days of snow now and could get up to 15 cm. Up to 8 degrees next Wednesday though. Won’t be seeing them till the snow melts again. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Thanks Kerry. It will be lovely to smell the hyacinths. It snowed again today but we had indoor things to do. George and our son put up a shelf for more plants in the bathroom. 🤷‍♀️ My youngest grandson Will was here. He is excited as they are getting a new puppy on Friday. She is an Australian Shepherd they named Stella. A new grand dog for us. 😍😍 @kez001uk

Can't blame them! The wind was so bad today! My poor spring bulbs look battered and down on the ground. Not a great start to the season 😕

I think some of my crocuses are done for this year. They look like they will need deadheading but I'm hoping there are some still in bud that will flower soon.

I have mostly these ones and ones with multiple flowers (need to look up what they are). Only 2 white ones but I have a separate pack of white ones. Overall, a good mix of muscari in that mixed pack 👍 I'm glad I was tempted by your purchase Alison 😁😁 @bluefox23

I read online that muscari armenicum can produce 1 to 3 flowers per stem. I've never seen it before so I thought maybe they were a specific cultivar. Actually, I noticed quite a few different varieties of spring bulbs to have more than one flowerhead which makes me wonder if that's because of last year's summer. I've had crocuses, narcissi, hyacinths and now muscari with multiple flowering stems and they're all bulbs that like to bake in the sun. 👍👍 @bluefox23

@ublaszko I didn’t realise they were the two-tone ones 😍 my cousin was given them from Anglesey Abbey gardens as she worked there. They’re really lovely, much nicer foliage 😂

Lovely surprise then! The foliage almost could fool you for a tulip. I can't wait to see mine as they're new in my garden.
