Ours were all in our house. I think they must have been hibernating indoors and then they were all over our windows. At first I placed them in my plants but now that it is warmer I have been putting them outside. Hope they hang around. 🤞🤞

I could do with a few in the greenhouse here. Quite a few plants in there have suddenly got colonies of greenfly on them. Must have been the warm weather we had a week ago?

@jeatacake aaah, I’m having the same problem in the greenhouse 😜 think that’s warm spell got em going 😝 we need to go on a ladybird hunt for greenhouse security 🤣

That is for sure. We need them badly. I found last summer they vanished only to come back in the fall. 🤷‍♀️

@hkyfvr do your summers get to hot for them? Can’t imagine they do well in the heat 🤔

I never thought of that. It does get pretty hot here. Not too hot for Japanese beetles though. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@hkyfvr I’d never heard of those until last year and saw on here a few people had them. Don’t envy you having them in your garden 😱

Thanks Kerry. They decimated my false sunflower. Thinking of digging it up to pot it up and put it on the porch. Tried various remedies but I only seemed to see a few of them. Sneaky devils. Then there are the slugs on the hostas. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@hkyfvr that’s such a beautiful plant too 😞 they always pick the prettiest ones 😡 I know that wool pellets work to keep the slimeballs away but it’s remembering to put them down before they get to the plant 🙈

It does seem like they like the pretty plants. We do not have wool pellets here at least not by that name. I may try making a garlic spray for my hostas. I noticed my pretty purple primrose flowers have been chewed up. 😡

@hkyfvr that’s supposed to work wonders! And a lot nicer than having to decorate the soil with wool 😂 oh no, not your primroses 😞 never the leaves they munch on, always the petals 😤

I will have to try it for sure. In my case they chewed both the petals and the leaves. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
