@jeatacake the first and only flower but was a new plant as I lost the original over winter. Had to get rid of another 50+ pots this week with bulbs and tubers that didn’t do anything. Must be over 300 pots I’ve lost since last winter 🤯

Wow, that's incredible 😢 I know I won't have much, if anything overwintering in the greenhouse later this year, after almost everything died in there last winter, even tender plants I'd had for many years 😔

Such a elegant looking flower, love it. Sorry to hear you lost two plants. What you could do if you really like a plant and your afraid you might lose it over the winter is to take a cutting that way you'll always have one in reserve

I killed mine 😭 It didn't survive hard pruning and yesterday I pulled the main stem and it came out with all the rootball 😅😅

Perhaps I cut it too far back where the stem was too woody but I remember it was green so it should have been alive. And the winter was pretty mild so it's not the frost. I don't mind that I've lost it because it's only £3 in Wilko but obviously now is not the time to go and replace it. I will use my many annual climbers to fill the gap and get a new passionflower next spring. ☺

@ublaszko I swear they just decide if they wanna grow or not, regardless of what we do to them 😂 and you do have plenty of seed-grown climbers to take its place 😁

I need to go and take a close look at mine, it’s growing really well so that’s a good thing Kerry.

It has done really well up until now but I must have upset it 😂

@MarcoCee I read they can take years to produce flowers. These were more mature plants so perhaps that’s why. Saying that, only one of 3 has buds 😂

I'm sure you can 😊 It looks a bit light green but that could just be the new growth or it could be aphids 😕 My one is a wild mess atm! It outgrew the homemade bamboo trellis so I need to get some nails in and tie a twine 👍👍

They've all overwintered well 👍

I've had two of these, the first one decided to die, the second one I got last year was about that size and grew loads and has survived winter 😀
