Oh isnβt that a beaut.....unusual colour...π

That's a stunner β€

Beautiful and full of flowers β₯οΈβ₯οΈ

So many flowers they almost completely cover the beautiful folige

@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom thanks Elaine π itβs a salmon pink in not-so-blazing sun π

@jeatacake thank you Jeff βΊοΈ

@midnightgardener thanks Christine π has never flowered so well before π

@alan1111 itβs a bit of a shame it hides the leaves but Iβm impressed with how many flowers there are π

It's great to see them doing so well after the winter

@alan1111 all 3 made it through, with the help of greenhouse living π

I remember them in the greenhouse all three beauties in their own right

These last few days of sunshine has helped them come along

@alan1111 itβs been lovely hasnβt it βοΈ trying to leave them to flower before I cut them back. Had frosts the past few nights so figure itβs best to leave them a while longer - no idea what Iβm doing really π€£

I'm not much help there π

@alan1111 we are 2 peas in a pod Alan π

Or this one π

@ublaszko even the flowers are tolerable in winter π

I liked my variegated pelargonium from 2 years ago and I missed it last year.

@ublaszko which one did you have??

Mrs Pollock. It had yellow, red and green splodges. Red flowers but it rarely flowered because it was in full shade.

@ublaszko oh yeah, thatβs pretty much the same as Contrast, great looking leaves π

Yeah, look the same. π

Such a pretty one Kerry

So much colour going on in your pots K π

What a beautifully simple flower πππ

@telswirld things are starting to colour up again, if Dennis didnβt blow it all away π

@pelly they are delicate little things, and donβt detract from the foliage either π

Oh, how precious! π

@taylork thanks Taylor βΊοΈ theyβre adorable little blooms π₯°

Hi! Do you have these growing now? Iβm curious what your weather is like during the winter? Our weather is usually gray although itβs been 63 and sunny the last few days here. It was appreciated. Now itβs raining and the buckets are outside for plant water. Have a good day

I love this color!

@janetandjim hi Janet π I do have these growing in the greenhouse at the moment π itβs been cold here but not below zero much. Theyβre protected but the greenhouse isnβt heated so am surprised theyβre doing so well! Sounds like your winter is being kinder to you than summer was π hope it continues π€π»

@savannahssucculentgarden isnβt it pretty π much nicer than the orange/red flowers that you typically see

Still trying π #pelargonium #pelargonium-frank-headley

Looking good & if a bit mild, can flower all winter in the greenhouse π

Good to have flowers on it but the foliage is the star of the show

@jeatacake theyβre getting a little leggy now but will wait til spring to cut them back. Was tempted to decapitate them but feel guilty chopping off flowers π

@alan1111 it most definitely is π€© but starting to look a bit ropey now so didnβt wanna show the crispy leaves π€£

Just pull them off and the plant might look a little better π

@alan1111 was being too lazy and cold to pretty it up π€

I know how that goes π

@alan1111 itβs horrible because so much needs done but thereβs no incentive for us to go out there in this freezing, wet, windy weather π

Spring is probably the best time to cut them back, when new growth will start properly. You can then also use the bits cut off as cuttings π

Luckily I haven't got much of a clean up to do so a half decent day and I'll it done

@jeatacake see, Iβd never think to use the bits I chop off for cuttings π need to get a Jeffbrain! π

@gjones me too π theyβre very small now so guessing itβs slowing down for winter βΉοΈ

@gjones this one has a much more subtle coloured flower and I think it looks quite good with the foliage βΊοΈ

Beautiful, it would light up any room

@gjones it is quite delicate. Theyβre just so interesting to look at π

@alan1111 thank you Alan βΊοΈ lets hope it keeps lighting up my greenhouse til next spring ππ»

It might look a bit rough in spring but come summer....

@alan1111 so long as it makes it to spring Iβll be happy whatever its state π€£

Just keep it on the dry side with a bit of luck it'll be fine

@alan1111 thatβs what Iβm worried about, the watering. Iβve no idea how frequently I should be doing it π€ͺ I assume most things should be kept on the dry side?

I look at the weather if it's been wet or over cast they won't need water but if it's been dry and bright for a while just cheak them

@alan1111 thank you Alan ππ»

Are you still up? Go to bed π

@alan1111 Iβm just about to, had to do my final rounds first π€£

Lol good night

Wow! Look at this! Gorgeous!ππ

@ShelleySnyder thanks Shelley βΊοΈ like a camouflage effect π

@gjones thanks Katy π the edges are starting to go pink too, quite a nice effect π

Except it's much prettier!ππ

@ShelleySnyder they should change all the cammo to this pattern π the world might be a little more cheerful if the military dressed as plants π€£

You're right!ππ

Wowzers! I'm in love with that foliage!!ππ

@cyndi oh I agree, itβs all about the foliage π was just intrigued about the flowers but can see why people remove them

@ShelleySnyder isnβt it fantastic! Usually the thing I pay most attention to now, thanks in big part to you βΊοΈπ

It is fantastic!! π€ππ

@gjones theyβre gorgeous, you and Shelley are responsible for my foliage love π€£

@gjones you are so kind! Gotta love a good verigated leafed plant!ππ

@gjones oh I fully agree! @ShelleySnyder is most definitely the gtβs foliage queen π

Ju maka me blush!π€¦ππ

@ShelleySnyder no idea why but I read that in the voice of Cake Boss Buddy Valastro π€£

πππππ

Beautiful where do you get your flowers?

@aj50 thank you Ann π mostly I buy them from online places but this was from a little nursery near where I live π
