@hkyfvr it is covered in buds 💟 the little bit of protection from the greenhouse is all these seem to need to flower like crazy 🤩

@midnightgardener it is 😁 mind you, it’s in the greenhouse and has been since autumn. I can imagine they struggle in the wet Yorkshire winters. They’re not the strongest of plants unfortunately 😜

@pelly the first year I got them they were badly damaged by frost and didn’t recover well enough to flower until winter. They’ve stayed on that schedule ever since 😅

@Davidward thanks David 😄 I brought it into the unheated greenhouse for winter and it’s still in there until after the last frost. A late one almost killed it off last spring snd didn’t flower much in summer but hasn’t stopped since 😂

@alan1111 I hope so. The original one I had a couple of years back flowered all summer. Think these are out of sync after battling back after the frost 😐

I saw a photo of flower market in Iran and pericallis was really popular. Perhaps they originate from Iran. The market looked gorgeous with all sorts of colours 💜💙💗

Chomping insect larvae cause those 'squiggles' in the leaves 😡

I've wondered about this too @anges

Maybe snip the leaves off to tidy it up but I don't think they cause much damage to the flowers. This looks great besides 💜💜💜 @novicegardenlover

Do you heat your greenhouse at all? So many things are still blooming so well for you! I would so love to have a greenhouse I could work in but I think that's a dream I'll just have to keep dreaming. 😌

It's leaf miner damage, the larvae of whiteflies. I use RoseClear a couple of times a year as the same plants that get whiteflies also seem to be prone to powdery mildew.

Heats it just enough (Jeff suggested it and it’s worked wonders). I hope you get to have your greenhouse one day soon 😊 they really are so useful, especially this time of year 🥶

@alan1111 think they didn’t get much chance to flower in summer as they were recovering from severe frost damage. But I expect the greenhouse is helping them to flower now 😛

@alan1111 I’m shocked at how many buds appeared 😂 through summer all the flowers were coming through very damaged so kept deadheading. Think that’s helped 😛
