That's a gorgeous photo 💚💛💗
Oh lovely....😘
Beautiful 📷
Mine are over 3ft tall and very wide too. I’ve never seen them so big
Mine are still very tiny. I'll have to enjoy yours in the meantime. 💜💜💜
Thanks for this, I have some and couldn't be sure if they were a cornflower or a weed lol 😄
So pretty 💜🤍💜
@pelly thanks Jane 😊 love the detail in cornflowers 😍
@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom thanks Elaine ☺️
@solly1961 thank you Mark 😀
@vegandmore that is tall!!! Do they bulk up fast? Mine only have a few flower stalks still 😐

Fantastic detail, that's such a great shot Kerry 💞💞💞
Well done 👍 Funnily enough, this was 1 of only 2 plants (not counting grass) that was there when I moved to where I am now!
@pelly thanks Jane 😁 they’re beautiful flowers to photograph 🤩
@jeatacake thanks Jeff ☺️ wow, your garden really was a blank canvas! Can’t complain at a free one of these though 😉

First ever flower bud!! 🥳 #perennial-cornflower #cornflower #centaurea-dealbata #grown-from-seed
Well done 👍 This is only one of two plants that were already in my garden when I moved here 6 years ago. Still going strong now & very much maintenance-free.
I think this might be in a flower mix for drying I got in Poland last year. I sowed them in my flowerbeds so fingers crossed something will come up 😌
@jeatacake they’re such lovely flowers so I’m happy it’s going to bloom after over 2 years 😂 they sound like the perfect plant 😋
@ublaszko was that the mix with strawflowers? The foliage is quite nice too, compared with normal cornflowers. Silvery but not scraggly 💚
Yes, that's the one 😊👍
@ublaszko liked the look of that 😋 you’ll get some great ones from that mix 😍
Hoping they germinate at all. No sign of them yet but perhaps I'm being impatient. 😉
@ublaszko you’ve got used to your seeds shooting up in no time, that’s why 😉
Could be that 😉 I mostly sow seeds indoors and I'm used to them germinating within a week 😂 Last year I sowed penstemon Huskers Red seeds but they didn't germinate after a month so I threw them away. This year I've read they take 1 to 4 months to germinate 😂😂 I sowed a batch a month ago and so far nothing has happened yet. 😴 @kez001uk
@ublaszko some seeds can stay dormant for months! You were lucky you’re germinated so well and have grown so well too. Saying that, waiting months for a seed to say hi takes too much patience 😂
Still waiting for any signs of germination of hellebore seeds I sowed in January. I'll find out in 14 more months at the latest if the seeds were viable 😂😂

Help me identify this plant #plantid
Those leaves look familiar but just can't think what they are. Cross between a potato & a dahlia maybe? 🤔😁
Could possibly be centaura dealbata but looks similar to Dahlia leaves or potato as Jeff suggested ? 😮
@jeatacake @Keely thanks to you both 😁 I don’t think they could be either though, definitely not a hybrid Jeff 😂😂😂 I’ll check if I had seeds for centaura dealbata though, cheers Keely. Wouldn’t mind if they are those! 😛
@kez001uk Possibly Valeriana officinalis
@kez001uk nothin worse chic than “📠unidentified plant in the garden area, please remove ypur plant and try again” call for help? Wish to continue?” Ha well i thought it was tomatoes leaves when i was flicking but its not then i thought echinacea but thats not right either tomatinacea?
scabiosa?
@ianshaw I don’t think I have those seeds but I’ll take a look. Thank you 😁
@adiamond tomatinacea 🤣🤣🤣 I’ll keep a close eye on it, you never know what can cross pollinate 😂
@gjones it does look like potato foliage but don’t think it can be. I have a few pots of whatever it is though so hopefully some silk survive long enough to flower
@moore.794 I do remember sowing some of those so could possibly be. Thank you ☺️

@KOutdoors isn’t it lovely 😛 looks lilac in the shade so feels like I have 2 plants depending on the weather 😂
