The Queen would be impressed. Lovely roses 🌸💕
@hkyfvr let’s hope she doesn’t notice the blackspot on the foliage 🙈 it’s been terrible on some roses this year 😜
She would not be amused would she?🤣 l should check my rose leaves. I would think I would have noticed black spots. A little late in the season to be checking I guess. The foliage on some of my plants is not looking great now anyway. 😔🤦♀️
@hkyfvr state of mine she’d banish me from the kingdom! You’d definitely notice as they turn yellow and drop off eventually. That’s how it’s spreads too so it a pain trying to keep up with the fallen leaves in the autumn 🤪
I just noticed mine is starting with black spots on a few leaves. I had better remove them soon. 🤦♀️
@hkyfvr oh no ☹️ it’s such a pain 😫

The Queen is looking fabulous 💗🌸
@hkyfvr thanks Diane 😀 another one having its best year 💕
So good to hear. Mine is doing well too. My daughter was just over and told me that her rose has tiny green caterpillars all over the leaves. The rose is not looking good. Have you heard of this? So sad for her. 💔
@hkyfvr oh no 😔 could it be rose sawfly? They defoliate the plant but won’t kill it, at least I don’t think it will 😜 hopefully she can pick them off if they’re at caterpillar stage 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@gjones thank you Katy 😛
Yes it is rose sawfly. She was going to tackle the problem today. Yuck. 😟😫
@hkyfvr I wish her the best of luck 😝
Thanks Kerry. You are so kind. We are getting torrential thunderstorms right now. My roses are falling over. It has been like this for a few hours. One right after the other. 😫⛈⛈
@hkyfvr whaaaaat??? More bad rain??? 😭 this can’t be typical July weather for you, surely 😓
It is not. We usually get heat and lots of sun. Our lawns turn brown and we have to water so much. Everything gets a little crispy. Never so much rain. June was dry and I bet we have already had our regular rainfall for the whole month this July. 😟☔️⛈
@hkyfvr wow, this really is abnormal weather for you then 😔 you’d like to think it all evens out but don’t want to be getting a super hot summer to counter all the rain 😱

Such a beautiful rose. Love the colour. 😍😍
@hkyfvr one of my favourites. It changes colour so much and the fragrance is beautiful 💕💞💕
@gjones thank you Katy ☺️
Sounds wonderful Kerry. It is kind of a coral pink colour now which is so pretty. Love fragrant flowers 👍😍
@hkyfvr nice to have one I can smell at my height too 😂
Yes that is definitely a selling point. 😹😂

Very elegant rose 💕🐝💕
Looks gorgeous! I was looking at this one and Pink Perpetue and chose the latter. Wish I choose Queen Elizabeth although might have ended up with a random one anyway 😆 My Pink Perpetue seems to have red flowerbuds 🙈
Beautiful 💕💕♥️
@debs69 thank you Debra 😊 smells great too 😋
@ublaszko Pink Perpetue is almost identical 😍 hope yours ends up being right because those blooms are stunning 💗
@midnightgardener thanks Christine ☺️ it grows so tall, that’s the only thing with this one. Regularly lose branches to the wind 😜
The main difference is that Pink Perpetue is a climbing rose. I think I prefer rose bushes better 😜
@ublaszko this is like a rose tower! Gets too tall for my liking 😜 you might find a perfect place for it to climb in your new garden 😁
@kez001uk Oh no that's a shame. Is it too big to move? Mind you while it's flowering you can't move it. I've moved two roses, no, three but they were easy to move 💕💕
@midnightgardener it’s in a pot and against the fence to try shelter it’s as best as possible, but still happens. I think I might need to cut it right back next spring, try bush it out a little so it’s denser and stronger. I don’t know too much about roses 😜
@kez001uk I can't say I do really. I know they like acidity. I cut mine back after the season we ends, so I'm supposed to do it in Spring. I read that too. Even though I cut back early I've still got good growth. But with Pinkie this time she really needs a good cut back. She's huge this year. The biggest rose I've got 💕💕

@jeatacake 😂 it’s pink around the ‘rimmer’ though 😉😉😂🤣
There's no answer to that! ☺🤪🤣
@jeatacake I just read that back and I should have thought about what I wrote before I posted it 🙈😂🤣
Oh don't worry, it made me laugh on what was otherwise a very dull journey to work 👍😁🤣

Roses have been great this year! 😄
What a beauty 😍👍
@ublaszko they really have! Was surprised this flowered as the late frost killed back all the new growth 😜
@jeatacake thanks Jeff 😁 was a nice surprise this morning. The crazy weather the past week has had quite an impact!
Really? I always thought of roses as being tough as old boots. A bit like myself 😂😂😂 (Sorry, couldn't help myself!)
@ublaszko think I made mine weak 😂 frost even killed one completely! Urszula! 🤣🤣🤣 you’re far from that 🙈
😂😂 Oh no, such a shame you lost one rose already 😕 This one looks happy though 👍 My rose Peace is about to have its 2nd flush of flowers 😄
@ublaszko never got to see it flower either ☹️ wow, she moves fast! It only just finished flowering 😯
Yeah, it's the new shoots that started to grow from the base. They're now taller than the main plant! My rose Peace really is loving the heatwave and the rainstorms 😁 @kez001uk
@ublaszko she don’t mess around! The weather has suited them perfectly 😋
