@KOutdoors I was going to tag you in this tonight but you beat me to it 😛 they really are so tactile aren’t they 🥰 these are a little less so, a bit waxy feeling. But they do look good! 😍 this one I have in a pot but it has broken through the base and rooted itself 🤣 so rather than it being a compact 1m x 1m it’s now over double that in height & spread 🙈 think they can get to 4m when mature

@KOutdoors I’d say you could cram one in anywhere but I fear it might take over after a couple of years 🤣😂🤣 does do well in a pot though so that could be one way to crowbar it in 😛

@cyndi this one is strange though, the catkins feel waxy 😜 will be interesting to see if they develop colourful pollen like the others do 🤔 it’s a good looking thing though 😛

@pixierose I’m intrigued to see it progress too. Doesn’t look like any other willow catkins I’ve seen 😜 there will be plenty of updates no doubt 😂 if the wind hasn’t blown them all away 🙈

All the plants seem fine thanks, but had one fenced panel damaged & another one completely wrecked. Also, lost half the roofing felt off the shed. They'll have to wait to be sorted out until I'm off again on Thursday when hopefully it'll have calmed down. 🤞 Hope there was no damage there 🙏

@jeatacake oh no, I’m sorry to hear that 😔 could have been worse I guess but that’s a lot still! Especially for the shed 🙈 fortunately I was able to move most plants and escaped with no damage so far, except for the rain being so heavy my greenhouse window leaked. But that’s nothing compared to many. My grandad lost his entire back fence and garden was absolutely wrecked 🥺

Could have been much much worse, like your poor grandad's garden 😔 So glad yours was all OK. My biggest fear is always the greenhouse biting the dust when it's wild weather like this. I'll get it all sorted on Thursday no problem. I have all the materials to hand including 2 spare fence panels

This one seems to b a fast grower unless you planted them at different times. Don’t you just love how this app is like a journal of our plants. Finally I think everyone’s yards are blooming for us👍🏻👍🏻☺️👏👏😊💕
