@gjones they really have grown big this year. The flowers are about as big as a baseball and the plant is easily 18” 💛 love them for their tolerance to whatever weather is thrown at them

@jeatacake thanks Jeff ☺️ a fair few things are still blooming away so trying to leave what I can. Just getting too cold outside so not keen on leaving it much longer 😂
Yesterday afternoon was not bad here, but it has become quite a bit colder now most days & not much left in flower in my garden. Just got to make sure I get all the tender stuff in the greenhouse in time, now I've cleared out all the pesky tomato plants!
@jeatacake it’s that damp air I can’t tolerate. Seems to get in your bones 🥶 oh so no more tomatoes?? You’ve had a great haul from them though so least they’re making way for more important things now 😁
I know what you mean, especially after so much rain up until the last few days. Yes, the tomatoes have done well. It's a wonder I don't look like one after the amount I've eaten. Probably will though in a few weeks time after a bit of Thai sun!🍅 The plants get very scraggly, yucky & messy going into autumn. They slow right down & virtually stop fruiting without enough warmth or sun. Will get all the tender stuff in there over the next few days when I'm off 👍
