@alan1111 they have got rather tall π

I love the foliage Kerry π

Thanks Kerry it's a good looking plant nice and upright. The foliage reminds me of the Californian poppy ππ

@sieveheadsarah itβs lovely and airy-looking, plus itβs a little fluffy too π

@alan1111 itβs looking good at the moment, just hope it stays that way as itβs loaded with buds π it does look like that! Just a clumsier version π

Yeah it's covered in buds look forward to seeing it in full bloom

@alan1111 Iβll be bombarding the feed with photos when it is π

That is so sweet ππ

Beautiful colour Kerry how did you find growing them? Do they stay upright or need support?

Wowzers. I have missed your posts

@pelly thanks Jane π have been so excited for these to flower π

@alan1111 thank you Alan π so far Iβve not done a thing with them since I sowed the seed. No supports as yet - Iβll post a full photo of the pot tomorrow π

@gjones hope youβll have success with them in your garden π I have them in full sun from mid morning til sundown and they seem to be doing ok. But I do make sure theyβre kept well watered. The heat didnβt seem to cause them any issues, in fact it gave them a big growth spurt π

@janetandjim thank you Janet βΊοΈ

@columbiariver arenβt they adorable π need more colours next year π

Thanks Kerry

@gjones youβre very welcome. And theyβre quite sheltered from the wind too which I think has helped them stay upright π

Canβt wait for these to flower π

I saw them on GT last year and they're beautiful ππ

@ublaszko Iβd never heard of them til I saw the chiltern seed catalogue. Reminded me of tiny mophead hydrangeas π

@gjones I have plenty of spare seed if youβd like some? They seem to germinate well, these were sown direct and have done great so far

Oh no, not the Chiltern seed catalogue π²π²π²

@gjones very welcome βΊοΈ

@ublaszko itβs dangerous isnβt it! They make everything look so pretty π my wish list is a mile long already π€£

Haha! I don't even know what's on my wishlist anymore as it just goes on and on π I made a smaller wishlist just for spring bulbs that are available at Wilko and other places locally. ππ

@ublaszko good thinking, a wish list and a more realistic wish list. May have to pinch that idea π might actually get some of the plants in it then π€£

Having a list like that makes me think which shop I can get the bulbs from without going online shopping and also means I don't get overwhelmed by choice when I see the spring bulb display. I'm always struck how difficult it is to choose only some bulbs out of the whole lot. I want them all! πππ

@ublaszko smart to try limit your choices. Plant shopping can be so overwhelming. Unfortunately I have a βjust one more wonβt hurtβ policy π

π π I'm always thinking how much watering I'll have to do if I buy one more plant π except bulbs spring bulbs practically look after themselves so it's more difficult to control myself π§
Coming to an end but still looking pretty π
Is that before or after...ππ
They curl up sort of like a queen Anne's lace
They're lovely Kez I love the way they stand. Elegant flowers. Could be one for my wish list ππππ
Gorgeous Kez π€©
They look wonderful still π
@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom theyβre almost as pretty at the end arenβt they π
@lesliecole49 they do π wish they got as big as that when theyβre in bloom π€©
@cyndi thank you Cyndi π
@gjones thanks Katy βΊοΈ I think the pink bit is where the seed is. It stays blue until the flowers fade away π
@midnightgardener they would be great in your wildlife garden π very robust plants too so are great for late colour once the weather turns. If I can manage to work out how to save seed, Iβll keep you some π
@telswirld thanks T π theyβve done so well and still look good to the end π
