Mine has the same fruit things! First year it's happened
That's cool @kyleleonard I was worried mine wouldn't as I got this given of next door she had 2 but I got 1 and they need another plant to make the berries or so I was told 😄
Yep! Need a male and female. Apparently the berries are poisonous..
Yeah they are, my kids know not to eat any berries or anything unless I say lol or touch any plants. Last summer the kids in the street along with my LO where making perfume from flowers that apparently fell already 🤔 right next to fox gloves so I had to tell them about them. 🙄 @kyleleonard

Well that was worth a little bit of TLC. I remember telling you it was worth saving months ago. I think you said it came from a neighbour but I thought there was 2. This one is looking really good & very healthy. Well rescued👍🏻👍🏻
There was 2 I have one to a friend I nearly got rid of this thinking it would get to big but I've kept it to go along the fence ... It's coming back nicely lots of new growth 😁

Might not look very pretty right now but this time next year hopefully it will and over the years even better 😊
This poor plant got moved from a little pot from next door then from the ground then I was going to get rid of it and it was in a black bag for a few weeks 😑until a saw a great idea online, so I'm keeping it. Just repotted it in a big 45cm pot so it should grow ok in this? 🤔 its going to go along the fence where its a bit shady 😊
Hope it does well @kimmy01 , looks like some new shoots appearing so fingers crossed for you 👍🏼
Thanks @richard.spicer.7906 😄 I've been so lucky and got plants from neighbors and friends...
Lovely to share plants with friends and neighbours 😊 I got a clump of lovely daffs and sunflowers from mine a couple of years ago and they always look great 👍🏼
Awww that's nice @richard.spicer.7906 😊 I like giving people plants too like I'm trying to convert people to gardening so they can feel how good it feels 😂

Help me identify this plant... Just got these giving from my next for neighbour she was going to bin them. Wondering where to plant them they need a bit of love. I have a great stop in a shady area they could go.

Perhaps Aucuba japonica ??

Looks a bit like spotted Laurel that's distressed 🤔
@kimmy01 Agree with @bright colours & @harebell Aucuba Japonica better known as Spotted Laurel. They're just desperate for a drink & feed. I have a large one in front garden. It's evergreen and looks good all year round.

@angipangi I have a large bush at the side of my drive they do look good for winter colour I've got mine planted underneath a tall holly tree with helebores I call it my winter border 😄

Yes spotty laurel. Pretty hard to kill so well worth planting in rich soil in shade to resurrect them
Thanks everyone :) I'm pleased I saved them from the bin now. Ive given one to my Freind and im going to plant the other one as soon as I've finished digging out tree routes from my front garden border, and fertilize it with lots of work pee :)
I found this in the garden center today selling same size for £15 and was called Aucuba ,Japonica variegata
