The extras I sowed from a fresh supermarket pepper when the others didn't show 😅 now I have too many. I don't need these. 🤣

These germinated a LOT quicker too... No drying the seeds just straight from a supermarket pepper.

30/03/23 time to pot on but no space in my little germination station.

It's about damn time! 12 days to germinate but feels longer when you should of done them in February 😅

I grew this variety last year. It did fairly well since we don’t get much sun or heat here. But I realized that my family really doesn’t eat peppers enough for me to overwinter them. I’m trying to cut back on growing peppers until I return to a warmer climate @kimmy01

I've never managed to over winter peppers or chilli's. I've got some chillis in the greenhouse now that I've tried to overwinter again... I'm not sure they will have survived though. @Dragon_Warrior

@kimmy01 I have over wintered jalapeños, small sweet peppers, and cayenne. I ended up buying some chocolate jalapeño seeds this year but that’s all. I still have plenty of seeds to play with sometime. But I want to try to focus more on what works here for now.

How do you over winter yours successfully? @Dragon_Warrior

@kimmy01 I just keep them growing while fighting off aphids, fungus gnats, and other fun stuff lol

Oh do you not get a true frost? In in the UK in the north east. @Dragon_Warrior I've even brought them in the house and they died

Moved all the peppers to the other side of the greenhouse and this last ones been hanging on by a thread all summer long 😁

That's awesome @linfoster I've got no room in doors.. I could make room for a plant or two though 🤔 how long do they fruit for indoors do you think? 💚

I was going to wrap them in fleece and keep them in the greenhouse over winter .. Hopefully that will work @linfoster
