Daucus carota subsp. sativus 'Purple Haze'

Such a shame, I hope to find more seeds for next year...

I was really looking forward to these but they are all full of tiny maggots, carrot rust fly by the looks of it from Google searching ..... 😭 I will have to buy some fleece to go over the carrots next year. It was my best year growing carrots as well. 🤢

My orange ones seem to be ok I've chopped them in little cubes and there is no sine, it might have been carrot fly resistant ones though. I'll have to look out for some more purple ones for next year. @cyndi but yes all the purple ones where like that, that I pulled up.

Even the tops are slightly purple compared to the rest of the carrots... Can't wait to try these.

Mines been a while not sure how long thinking 2 weeks but I'm not organized like you I wish I was I did lettuce at the same time and that's just started so fingers crossed won't be long now
