Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata'

I didn't do well with flowers in a basket 🙄 so now I've got this lovely looking ivy I can enjoy all year! 💚

Never really appreciated how pretty ivy looks close up before 💚 #ivy

it's flowers are lovely! Having said that we had to get rid as overtaking everywhere and not where I wanted it , removing the root 😱

We moved into the house I'm in now a few years ago and ivy was all over the back taking over the fence decking house and going in to at lease 5 neighbours gardens... Destroyed the fence we've still got a few massive routes to dig out but are concreted in and can only be taken out when the old fence goes... Well it will be easier anyway. I hated it then I went to the garden center and got my self this one lol mad.. They said it was a slow grower 😂 but this is for in the house or hanging baskets.

Really bad picture but, Ivy in the kitchen! Yes or no? 🙄 This one is slow growing apparently compared to other ivy, I got it last spring and it hasn't grown much at all... I've just put it up here the other day.

I've kept it there @titchyfra I just don't want it to take over or stick to the walls and leave marks 🙄 I've had terrible experience with ivy in the garden! But this one if nicer looking and I was told at the harden center its a slow grower so everything should be fine

Generally speaking a variegated variety of a plant is not as vigorous... But I don't know about this particular Ivy.

Thanks @brightcolours I'll be keeping it in a big container so it should be easy to maintain.

Unless they specifically tag you then you don't get notified in other people's posts. Which is why I usually check if I get notified that someone has liked my comment to see if there's anything further said of any relevance to me. @teamgardentags another subject for #GTagsTips ??
