Last cut of the year at the allotment that I've been putting off for a while.

A very satisfying job.

Oh and I still need to cut my grass 👍

First cut!!! Still a bit patchy so put new seed down. I wish I dug up the right side now but I'm sure it will all blend together eventually 😅

New grass seed down today 10/04/22

It's patchy and you can see where I stood on it 😅 but I've cut the new grass for the first time.. kinda anyway, with scissors 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦 time to look for a cheep little mower. The cuttings will be used as mulch at my allotment 😍🌧️💚 it's temping to take the barrier down and let the dog go on but I think it needs a couple more weeks. #green #lawn

The lawn is doing great, there are a few patchy parts though where the seed didn't germinate. 15/06/19 it's been just over a month since I put the seed down, I'm not sure if I mow now yet. 🤔

Yeah I'm that way too @cyndi that's why I got rid of the decking but the dog loves grass 🤣 he's going to love it....😀 I'll probably end up putting some little borders in I recon 🤣 I haven't even got a mower yet I've just been using scissors on the tiny bit of lawn for now... I have a push mower at my allotment but don't fancy bringing it back and fourth all the time 😅

I just want to do whatevers quickest to get the dog on he's fussy and stopped using the tiny bit of grass we have holding it in untill we go out for a walk! 🤣

This whole grass cutting thing is none stop isn't it 😂 was only a week ago it got cut, 3rd ever cut now. 😅 The compost bin will be loving it though 😀

The grass seed is all coming though nicely but I wish I didn't use my own compost !!! I have sunflowers and pumpkins coming though everywhere !!!!!!!!!! I can even get to them without standing on the grass 😮🤐

Raked all the compost in put the spare in a old compost bag on the right.

@kimmy01 I did that at a house I lived at once. It was a small garden with a tiny piece of grass so I’d sit in the middle and trim away with my scissors ✂️ I had a Lovely lawn. 😁👍🏼

This has grew so much 😄 just a few patches from me standing on it to soon I think or maybe the dog.

What’s your secret as my lawn is a disgrace and I can’t seem to get rid of the patches

It's only been transplanted from little grass clumps I dug up from my allotment for 7 weeks @flowerseed I have only watered it I haven't cut it yet untill the roots get established

Yeah it should spread and it's all got seed heads on 😀 Its from my allotment as I'm weeding @Denise16 I just plan on filling as much as I can to this little patch on the left so my dog can do his business again in my garden 😂 the rest I will grow from seed after I get my new fence.

Before the dog I was planing on planting it all after taking down the decking but now I trained my puppy to pee on some artificial grass before we done the garden up we then got rid of it cos it was smelly and now he won't do his business in the back garden 🤣 I trained him to well. I will be making some skinny raised beds so he can't pee on things I want to eat but the rest of my veg is at my big allotment. I'm kinda looking forward for the green. 😁 @cyndi Plus the cut grass will be good mulch

Ermmm well I was digging up my potatoes at the allotment and weeding when I noticed a big clump of grass so I thought why not plant it where I want my lawn it's quicker then seed :) it's all so all got seed heads on 🤣

(4th of March 2019) Making a start on the lawn just need to buy the seed next. Just this small patch for my dog before we get the new fence then I can do the rest after. 😊 Because I trained my dog to do his business on some fake grass and we got rid of it because it stunk and now he won't pee in the garden I have to take him out the front on the green. 😆😂😂😂🤣 (Can't wait to get my garden sorted this year!!!!!)
