10/06/23 planted the sweetcorn out today, smaller than I would have liked but will see how they go. And not as many as normal :/

Only 19.. I want more! :/ I failed this year, I was so ahead of everything

Harvested the sweetcorn a little bit earlier then I normally do this year, well what's left of it since the rats have had all the best ones 😭

Saved seed from last year that I started off late the other day! 😅 I'm sure when it gets growing they will catch up to where they should be. 💚

When I said prep for freezing I meant chuck them in freezer bags 😅

Harvest! 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽 All this minus the 4 we had the first day we picked them 😋 I've stored a few in the fridge and about to prep the rest for freezing... I love growing sweetcorn!

Finally got the sweetcorn out and planted, I can't believe I grew these from saved seed! 🥰

Pretty impressed with my sweetcorn I saved from seed from last year! 😮🥰 I know they are in small pots I don't have root trainers and didn't think they would germinate 😅

Well I went to chit these sweet corn I saved from drying the sweetcorn from last year and didn't have much hope since they all went moldy. I forgot about them for a few days thinking they will be mush but they all germinated ! Lol I've planted them all up.

Deadly love it when that happens. I'm told it's the perfect weather for corn

Thanks @cyndi I'm a bit late but I might get away with it :) off that they look red, I'm growing the baby corn too just sown them they haven't come though yet.

Pretty small still and yellowing... They get fed so it's not that, next door did do weed killer when it was a super windy day a few weeks ago though.... The row right next to the fence is more yellow and small so I'm thinking it's the weedkiller 😭 other veg near the fence died or is dieing.

Why on earth would they spray weed killer on a windy day! 🤬 keep watering and feeding Kim fingers crossed they’re ok 🤞💚

He's new to having a allotment maybe he didn't know.... I'll have to drop a hint maybe next time 🤔 @mich

The sweet corn doesn’t look too bad there’s a good chance that’ll recover with some tlc..yeah I’d move the tay berry just incase Kim you don’t want to loose that

The start of the three sisters method corn is in beans have been down two cumbers planted at the sides some more squash will be sown today 😊
