Camellia japonica 'Kramer's Supreme'

My Camellia Japonica hates its new home. Last year it was the most beautiful plant in the garden in its pot, this year after moving house it's more like the saddest. Have put it by a boggy area in the hope it'll come round. Finger crossed....

Is your soil acidic?

I have no idea at the moment without being able to test it but if it doesn't survive by the boggy ditch area then it's pretty much over anyway as there's nowhere else. I'll check for signs of recovery over the coming weeks. I don't know who's more traumatised by the house move, the plants or me?

@kittysoftpaws did you backfill with ericaceous compost? Also trying feeding using one specially for camellias/azaleas/rhododendrons. Failing that I would put it back in a pot. Fingers crossed 😊
