How big is your desert rose? I am new to these plants. Am in Australia & we have just started autumn. I probably need to prune mine soon. Just waiting to see if the flower bud opens or falls off again before maturing.

@debbiegillan I have not had mine for an entire growth cycle yet. So I don't think I can offer much advice, I did. It give mine any water throughout winter. Once the new growth starts I gently mist while the plant is beginning to wake up #desertrose . Good luck make sure to update with pics.
