Welcome to Gtags. This appears to be a variety of #optunia or bunny ears to me, but I will let others confirm or deny that. I'm not sure what is wrong with it. Let's ask a few others. @cactusdrop @cactusnut @cactusboy123 @cactiluke - is this scale, or scarring from injury?
I read somewhere that sunburn could happen to cacti if they were moved to a sunnier location? It's not scarring, does look a bit like scales. Thank you KariSamuel.
Looks like something had a munch on it (baby snails) and now it's healed over. Plants get a hard crust scar tissue when they get damaged whether its from insects or the elements.

I've wondered if it's burnt by the sun. I changed its location before the bad weather started...
