π±π» πβπΏI love gardeningπ It's so therapeuticπ My dream is to own a farm someday πππ¦πππ£ππ and grow my own good π πππ₯π₯ππππππππ
Here's my 2nd airplant. The base of the plant is brown....not sure if I should take it back....thoughts? I gave them both a 5 minute bath. I know very little about these (just the bit I read on Google)
@ladydreambox soak them in water (no chlorinated water) over night. Then most them periodically and soak them for an hour weekly or biweekly depending on how hot and humid it is where you are. The brown is ok. Some of mine have little brown on bottoms but still thriving. Get some sphagnum moss to put with them when you mount them.
Oops I soaked them right away in tap water but only for a few minutes. Didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I'll collect rain water or use bottled water. I'll soak them again tomorrow. @suzieshadow1227gmailcom

That's ok, no worries. I've done that too. I use rain water, if there is any or distilled water or bottled water.
