@gjones @cyndi @sabbanrula @anges thank you. My yard has 15 silver maples. They make great maple syrup due my marshy yard.
That’s impressive Annette 😃 I never thought of making my own maple syrup 🤔
@sabbanrula it is very time consuming but it is so worth the effort. Next spring I am going to try a gas cooker made for cooking beans fast.
That sound like something I know. Takes forever on the stove, right? I have a carob tree but I never used its pods for syrup because of the long cooking hours to get the extract, maybe I’ll try making some syrup next year 😄 see if it’s worth the effort 😁
