@gjones @alif @anges @cheyenne1barnett @cyndi thank you. I have had lots of them. I planted lots and lots of swamp milkweed. 20 years ago I used to get hundreds of them in the fall in my maple trees. It was quite the sight.

@KariSamuel @tinaaune @columbiariver thank you. This year has been a good year for monarchs. I have had several monarch roosts this fall. I like to stand under one and watch the monarchs fly around the tree.

There are three monarchs on joe pyeweed

I counted 6 monarchs flying around the joe pyeweed plus bumblebees. I went back after dark to catch some slimey slugs and there were many pretty moths that were at the joe pyeweed. I must plant more and more joe pyeweed, sweet joe pyeweed, boneset. Who does not like joe pyeweed?

Adding it to my list for next year!

@staciegokhan you will love this plant. It took 3 years to fully fill out and become 6'. If you have more shade you can try sweet joe pyeweed too.

@jaded88 thank you. Where I live is nice, but then comes winter. 4 long cold months seems to take a long time to pass. I do not like Minnesota winters much anymore.
