@gjones the city put in 3 rain gardens 12 years ago. The city did not take care of them so they become over grown with weeds. So they filled them in. Anyone could take whatever they wanted to dig out before they filled them in.

@hkyfvr really my passion is Lillies. I love them. However they are deadly toxic to cats. So I switched to daylillies instead. They are toxic it too, but will not kill a cat like lillies. They just vomit from daylillies. I keep the daylillies away from the house so the cats eat grass instead. Plus daylillies are flood tolerant. A plus in my back yard.

Thanks for this information. Did not realize how toxic they were. Lilly is our only outdoor cat and we just grow daylilies. She stays away from them thank goodness. 😻😻

See! This is my plant addiction! Do I really need a box full of daylillies? No! I just see a beautiful flower and I just can't say no. I must stop looking at flowers.
