I live in Southern Minnesota 4b. I am currently really excited about my wetland gardens, my rain gardens, my mini orchard, and perennial vegetables.

@sabbanrula I hope so. I have a white and red mulberry tree which I like, but I can not reach the fruit. This I will be able to eat.

Classic Mulberry 😄 My grandparents house had an enormous white mulberry that we used to climb as kids and reach the second floor roof. I hope my mulberry and yours will be just as tasty 😋😍

@gjones they are supposed to fruit and be self pollinating. I will see. I wanted one fruit tree in the house so I picked this one. I have a couple of mulberry trees. I can't reach the fruit. The birds however LOVE the fruit.

@gjones yes. The birds spread the seeds pretty good. I used to pull most of them. Now I dig them out and move them to replace my 13 green ash trees that will likely be killed by the ash borer. Now that I think of that I will have even more red mulberry trees. I am still hoping for some berries.

The black mulberry was outside. The leaves changed to a pretty yellow fall color and fell off. I thought it had gone dormant. I brought it inside and now it is budding.

The change in temperature is probly causing it to bud
