@gjones I have a high water table in my back yard. For the month of June we have only gotten 1/2 inch of rain. Plus we have been getting 95f degree weather for 3 weeks. The heat is starting again tomorrow. The water loving plants are struggling, cardinal flower, blue lobelia, hibiscus laevis, angelica, glade mallow, globe flower. I have started using lake water for my shrubs. Rain soon please

@gjones I like elderberries whether they are black or red. I have both. We do get the elderberry borer that I have to stay on top of or it will wilt the canes. This is my first year without any borer damage.

I really like these when they are flowering.
