You're so right Cyndi. This pic is beautiful Laney! The flower is beautiful and delicate and moves diagonally through the frame. The depth of field makes it pop and the stoney background really sets it off. Good job!

You’re totally right, @cyndi! I have noticed the same. Now that I have a place to post these photos, where they are appreciated, I take even more photos than before (which is saying a lot! I’m always trigger happy!!) and I’m able to notice and document even more of the amazing world around me. It’s just so nice, and such a lovely way to spend an afternoon... hiding from the southern sun. 💕

I like it to look as natural as possible & phone cameras are just so good now. I do have the one fairly well known photo, but I’m still just a self-taught photographer/hobbyist. What's cool Laney is that you're not classically trained but you intuitively know what works. I'm an artist who's long admired and studied the Masters. And most of the time it's not just the abilities of gifted artists that make them great but their ability to know where and what to put inside the frame. And I see a lot of that in your pics. Kudos!
