Sansevieria Trifasciata 'Black Gold'

My snake is dying, I guess it was too often water during winter time. I already took out them from the soil, let dried, planted again, and after 1 month, the problem got back. now I bought a new soil for suculents and good drainage (it was already 3 years with the same soil, I guess it needed to renew). Does anyone have any other recommendations? The roots doesn’t look affected. Thanks!
