So pretty! I killed mine but am trying to save the 1/4 of it that is left. :( I’ve learned a lesson about just how sensitive these guys are to rot.

@Lynn_D hopefully you can save it!! Mine is planted in 90% inorganic mix (mostly perlite) and in a terra cotta pot. It rains almost every day here in FL. I keep him outside and he gets all weather and it’s doing great. I think it’s all about good drainage when it comes to keeping these guys alive

Thanks for the info. I’ve been keeping all my succulents inside lately due to the extreme humidity in Louisiana 85-99%, but I’ll definitely pot up my future Black Princes with mostly pumice.

Anyone have #suggestions for removing #waterstains from my #Echeveria #blackprince?

I haven’t done this but would using a qtip with rubbing alcohol on it work?

I think i read milk and qtip. I haven't tried my self.

Milk works, but so does almond milk apparently.

No problem. I just found out about the almond milk alternative method, so thought I'd spread the word for any dairy free people.

Prince is getting darker. In some lighting, he looks almost dark red #blackprince

Well Prince has dried out a bit but his leaves feel a little weird. I’ll check on him again tomorrow

Prince got rained on. Let’s hope well draining soil prevails. He was just watered last week #blackprince #echeveriablackprince
