My #jellybeans lost their color for a while but now that I have them in full morning sun instead of partial, they are getting much more #red

This root growth is out of control. This plant must want WAYYYYY more water than it’s getting

I think all of the rain and humidity recently has really sparked this guy’s #aerialroots. He gets watered regular, but I think he wants more. Every single time I look at him, he has #newgrowth
@laskyhigh I have some with roots growing out like this. Is this normal?
Yes they are called aerial roots. @mollyocean https://www.succulentsandsunshine.com/aerial-roots-succulents-normal/
@laskyhigh thanks! I guess I better water it. It’s one of my new cuttings, so it hasn’t been watered yet. 😊

Well I’m really learning my jelly beans like to grow roots. Last week, none of these were here.

Just a #root #progress photo. There’s also some #newgrowth. Yesterday there was only one root, now that one is longer, and there is also another. #sedumrubrotinctum #sedum #jellybeansedum #jellybean

This #aerialroot is getting so long!
@laskyhigh it looks a root from that leaf. You might wanna pluck that leaf off and propagate it!
@veepaisal good idea! I am also considering letting it fall to root in the soil on its own, and maybe sprout a baby to help fill up the pot 😁 I guess I could get it started in my propagation station, but I figured it’d be fun to watch what nature does 😁

Is this a #propagation root? Or an #aerialroot? I’ve noticed some of my jelly bean leaves have roots, this one almost reaching all the way down towards the soil. The roots do not appear to be coming directly from the stem, only where the stem and leaf meet. Is this so that the leaf is rooted once it falls? I live in Florida, is my climate so humid that my plant is growing aerial roots? #planthelp #succulenthelp

This is normal, Succulents grow arial roots and grow babies while on the stem and when they are ready, they separate from the mother plant to be a new little plant. 🤗
@Yollymac thank you, Yolandi!! 💜✨

I’m not sure why this #macro picture of what I think is a #crested #succulentbaby got corrupted, but I want it as part of the catalog, so I’m uploading it again.

Here’s a better photo of the #sedum I think might be #crested. 🌱 #macro #succulent-propagating #propogation #stonecropaurora #jellybean

Could this be #crested? The lower right pic shows the “fused” stem next to a regular size one #propagation #succulentbabies

I don’t think these guys are too happy, but I’m not sure why. Though one stem does have babies growing
This soil looks like it might hold too much water. What sort of mix is it?
@crosma03 oh it most certainly does. It’s some regular bland storebought soil. I need to change it out and add some drainage material but I haven’t had a chance. Probably tomorrow
@laskyhigh, I bet that will help it a lot.
Okay... do you think this leaf prop is variegated? I’m having trouble figuring it out. I’ve seen a little bit on my searches about #sedum #rubrotincrum-aurora being primarily variegated, but I’m not sure those were reputable sources. The ICN isn’t very detailed, but does have a pic of a variegated offset. http://www.crassulaceae.ch/de/artikel?akID=182&aaID=3&aiID=R&aID=2811
Gosh! It looks variegated yes! Exciting !😁
@Muzz67 thank you for the confirmation! I’m thrilled about it 😅
