#closeup of #basil-purpleruffles. It's cool to see that its new leaves have green edges. Even during the early hours of the day, the leaves show more green and after it gets lots of sun, the leaves turn a reddish or a purplish shade. I didn't want to change it's lighting requirement of full sun for 6 hours because I plan to someday plant this outside or at least in a much bigger pot to let it grow further.

My aunt just asked me, "is that dead?" I told her it's just how this variety looks like 😅😂. This basil loves the window sill at full sun. I only placed it in this bag because we have guests in the other room and they will need to close the blinds. My room has a south-facing window so thinking of better ways. I have a goose-neck floor lamp right next to it that I hope can work as a temporary grow light for a few days. But I think I'm gonna put this back on the window sill during mornings.
