I love plants and gardening! I'm working on turning my black thumb to green. Hopefully this app can help. I'm in USDA Zone 8A.

8/5/2020 I gave my #lucky-bamboo a nice #root and #leaf trim today. Sharing a photo to see how it goes. I had been putting it off because I'm worried the #root-trim will harm it or the #stalk-trim won't grow properly. But the tallest stalk was 18" compared to the stems being about 10" tall and it had gotten a bit leggy. Either way, I should have at six new lucky bamboo plants in the near future. 😬

Very resilient plant! I believe it will be fine! I am in the process of growing some out to be the dracena. It has bounced back from every situation. :🎍

9/11/2019 The #lucky-bamboo is looking like it's time to be repotted or trim its roots. I'm leaning towards repotting so it can grow even better. The roots are insane, though

8/8/2019 I'm thinking of trimming the leaves of my #lucky-bamboo since they're getting a bit long so I'm preserving this photo as a mull it over and to have a "before" photo.

12/18/2018 I realized I hadn't posted a photo of the bamboo since early October. It's doing great and looks much healthier compared to when I first got it! I'm wondering if I should trim the leaves back a bit, though I kind of like the look. #luckybamboo

This one arrived yesterday as well. It came with a vase, which I love, but I want to buy some rocks for it. It's currently in soil.
