9/24/2019 My #purple-heart is flowering like crazy right now. Love its pink flowers!

8/12/2019 Many of my other plants are suffering in this heat wave we're having in North Texas but my #purple-heart is loving it.

5/6/2019 I'm loving how resilient the #purple-heart is. This is a flower on top of a piece of stalk that had broken off when I transported it to a new location and has since rooted.

11/20/2018 One of my pets (I think my dog) ate a leaf or two off the top of my purple heart. Since it's poisonous to animals, I moved it more out of reach and broke of the damaged part to a water vase. I noticed last night how it has the beautiful pink flower! (And don't worry. The animals are okay. I don't think she actually ingested the plant and it was few days ago.)

I just love this #purple-heart plant.

10/12/2018 My purple heart is doing great! Some of the leaves were kind of falling off but I think that was due to all the rain and cold we were getting. I think this is one of my favorites of my plants. #wanderingjew #purple-heart #purpleplants

Repotted the Purple Heart, though I'm not sure if this is the right pot for it. But she's growing great! I feel maybe I should trim but the idea of trimming plants makes me anxious...

The Purple Heart is doing great! It's probably doing just as great, if not better, as the jade plant!

Snagged this one also on Saturday for the color. Appears it's often called the Purple Heart but also called the Purple Heart Wandering Jew. However, Purple Heart is native to North America and is very hearty while the Wandering Jew is not. They look very similar though.
